QUICK RIG’s NEW “Wind-On Swivels. “These little swivels are machined down from a solid chunk of brass with all the edges smoothed out to prevent any chaffing of your line or leader. We have the two most useful sizes in Black finish. Double check your rod guides so there will be no jamming problems with winding-on the leader. If you “Google” How to use wind- on swivels you get a good idea how other anglers are putting them into action. Just so I told you so, when you are winding in that last section where the wind-on swivels is, point the rod tip down and line it up with the fish. That will insure you will have no problems using our Wind-On swivels.

Our Corkscrew Dredge connectors are hard working Swivels. They are built to last and support Quick Change of dredges. There are problems with pulling dredges. Don’t let too much leader lay behind the boat. The props can cut lines and swivels with no problems other than you loosing valuable equipment. Another issue that has happened a few times is the corkscrew snapping off. We inspected several of these damaged swivels and feel electrolysis is the culprit. Check your connection after a few hours in the water. If you see discoloration and wear, add a zinc sacrifice to your rig and troll for a few more hours. Exam the zinc and if it shows loss of metals have your grounding and bonding system checked out in your boat. We have seen shafts and props and all that runs in saltwater get eaten up and destroyed by electrolysis. Sea Buoy Corkscrew Dredge Connector II come in Black finish.
